Lift Truck Fleet: This calculator includes lift truck capacities from 2,500lb to 12,000lbs. Other capacities are available. Contact your lift truck dealer for more information.

Operation: This calculator allows exploration of operations ranging from 1000 hours a year to a maximum of 8,760 hours.

Lift trucks: The monthly cost of a lift truck is calculated as a lease with a 3.25% interest rate. Contact your lift truck dealer for available financing options.

Maintenance: Electric lift trucks cost up to 40% less to maintain than (Source: Electric Power Research Institute)

Battery/Charger: The length of lease adjusts automatically based the “Annual Hours” entered by the user. 36, 48 and 60 month leases are typical and other lease terms are available. Contact your EnerSys representative or lift truck dealer for more information.

Fuel: Internal combustion lift trucks are calculated to consume Liquid Propane at the following rates:

  • <4499 = 1.2 gallons per hour
  • 4500 to 6499 = 1.35 gallons per hour
  • 6500 to 7999 = 1.6 gallons per hour
  • >8000 = 2.5 gallons per hour

CO2 Output: Production of CO2 is based on data available at the US Energy Information Administration:

  • On average, consuming 1 gallon of LP produces 12.65453 lbs of CO2.
  • On average, consuming 1 kWh produces 1.222 lbs of CO2.
